If you don’t want to be as bulky as a full-fledged smartwatch, which incidentally also lasts significantly longer when charged, the Fitbit Luxe is the right choice. Only released in April, this model is designed to deliver the Fitbit brand’s essential fitness tracking information while being slimmer and more stylish than traditional trackers like the Charge. Amazon has $ 20 off today, which is a cool $ 130.
The Luxe tracks heart rate, exercise, and sleep, pretty much the bare minimum of the fitness tracker game, while allowing access to the more robust tools in the Fitbit ecosystem. It also tracks SpO2 (Blood Oxygen Percentage), a more intense metric that even some more expensive models like the Versa 3 can’t handle. It’s great for swimming thanks to its 50 meters water resistance and can handle basic notifications for text, email, calendar and other apps from your phone. After all, the 5 day battery life will outlast pretty much any of the more comprehensive watches on the market.
Oh yes: it also works as a clock.
The design of the Luxe is also much slimmer than most Fitbit products and encourages users to add accessories like trendy ribbons and … okay, it’s pretty much just ribbons. But some look pretty! All different finish (black, silver, gold) and band combinations of the Luxe are on offer today, with the exception of the “Special Edition” version with the gold bracelet. Amazon and other retailers, including the Fitbit official store, are offering the discount.
