Born well

Class: mom & me fitness

The core of Born Well’s products is teaching mothers how to exercise with their babies. Fitness classes are a unique combination of yoga, pilates, barre and bootcamp from founder and mother Jennifer Hunt. They currently offer classroom, outdoor and virtual courses. Bonus: Within a 30-minute drive of Wallingford, you can choose where to exercise outdoors.

Fit4Mom

Class: stroller step

If you’re looking for something a little more intense, this hour-long workout has total body conditioning for you. Think about weight training, aerobic exercise, and core recovery. And as the name suggests, your baby is with you at every stage of the stroller. Stroller step classes are currently taking place behind the School Kill River Trail and the Azalea Garden Museum.

Fitness alive

Class: Baby and toddler bladders

Are you ready to take the plunge and teach your baby to swim? Baby & Toddler Bubbles aims to make the water comfortable for children aged 5 months to 3 years and to lead independent swimming from mothers and fathers. 1425 Arch Street, Level B, Center City If South Philadelphia 714 Reed Street

Mom’s wellness joint

Class: Baby & Me; Children’s yoga

Mom’s Wellness Joint currently offers three baby-friendly courses. Her gentle Baby & Me yoga class is perfect for new parents and children who are over 6 weeks old but have not yet learned to crawl. In Kids Yoga, yogis aged 2 to 5 years practice “playful forms of yoga” and breathing exercises in 30 minutes. Mom Movin, on the other hand, is a 60-minute course for crawlers up to the age of four. (Parents are welcome to attend these sessions!) All classes are taught outdoors in the private gardens of Old Kensington. 1503 North Phillips Street, Old Kensington

Philly Dance Fitness

Class: Mama & Baby Yogalates

This class combines yoga, pilates, and baby hugs to focus on the muscles most affected by carrying and nursing your baby, such as the back, shoulders, and chest. During the class, your baby will be hugged with certain exercises and resting on or near the mat during other exercises. The group session will continue in September, during which a group of at least three other parents will be gathered. Email Philadelphia Dance Fitness Schedule a Session.

Y2B fit

Class: BYO Baby Barre

This postnatal ballet class aims to rebuild the muscles most affected by pregnancy and childbirth, especially the core muscles and the pelvic floor. During class, the child must be a pre-crawler because it “carries” the baby in the front carrier. Currently, Y2B Fit is available every other month and on-demand library you can enjoy anytime!
