CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Centerville’s first boxing hall opens on Sunday, December 12th with an event full of prizes, a ribbon cut and of course, boxing.

The DMC Boxing Academy is opening its new location at 74 Marco Lane in Centerville, the gym announced on Facebook. On Saturday, the doors will open at 2 p.m. and the ribbon will be cut at 2:30 p.m.
After cutting the ribbon, boxing demonstrations follow. There will also be raffle prizes and specials on member prizes available.

According to the gym’s Facebook page, trainers teach fitness boxing to people of all levels. The gym describes fitness boxing as a system that can help exercisers achieve their fitness goals through the use of boxing training techniques.
