The Conshohocken district announced on November 12th that an outdoor fitness area was opening in Sutcliffe Park.

From the announcement:

The Conshohocken Recreation Services Department has partnered with the National Fitness Campaign to bring this world-class outdoor bodyweight circuit training system to the Conshohocken District. The Fitness Court is designed so that people of all levels and abilities can get a full body workout in just 7 minutes. Each station uses body weight to increase fitness. Follow the channels in numerical order, 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off, then go to the next channel. Instructions for each workout can be found on the wall decals or in the downloadable Fitness Court app available on iPhone and Android devices. The app includes guided audio workouts and tutorial videos; graded difficulty, HIIT, upper, lower and full body exercises; and workouts organized by experienced starters and influencers.

The National Fitness Campaign has set itself the goal of building 1,000 fitness spots across the country by 2022.
