Parkinson’s Health providing free lessons, arts applications

Parkinson’s Fitness, a North Shore nonprofit, offers free classes at a variety of North Shore locations, including Marblehead.

In-person tuition returned in September and live virtual classes are still available through Zoom.

The growing community offers skill-based exercise and exercise courses as well as special art and music programs. The professional team of the organization is dedicated to increasing endurance, balance and fun.

Personal timetable

  • Strength with Kim: 11 a.m. Wednesdays at the Marblehead Council on Aging, 10 Humphrey St.
  • Balance in motion with Dianna: Thursdays 10:30 am at Stage Fort Park, 24 Hough St., Gloucester
  • Balance & strength with Sally: Fridays 10:00 a.m. at the Lynnfield Council on Aging, 525 Salem St.
  • Balance in motion with Diana: Fridays at 1 p.m. at the Danvers Council on Aging, 25 Stone St.

Virtual timetable (live stream via zoom)

  • Balance in motion with Dianna: Mondays 10:30 a.m.
  • Strength with Kim: 11 a.m. on Tuesdays
  • Yoga with Diana: Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
  • Strength with Kim: Thursdays at 10 a.m.
  • Balance in motion with Dianna: Fridays at 1 p.m.
  • Strength with Kim: Saturdays at 1 p.m.
