Etihad Stadium will be at full capacity this weekend for the first time in nearly two years when the Blues welcome their fans back to their first home game of the new season.
They face newly promoted Norwich in the traditional game at 3pm on Saturday after both teams suffered a defeat on the opening day of the season last weekend.
Fitness concerns and injuries have hampered the Blues’ preparations for the new campaign as a number of first-team stars were absent from the City’s recent defeats to Leicester City and Spurs.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench in north London last weekend but Pep Guardiola said the Belgian was unable to train with the squad on Friday.
On the 30-year-old’s fitness, the Catalan told the media: “Kevin still has a little problem with his ankle so we’ll see. We’ll see if he can play tomorrow.”
Ilkay Gündogan, who was key to Manchester City’s title win last season, was in a few complaints in the final minutes of the Spurs defeat.
The German had been reported to have suffered a shoulder injury and when asked if the injury would keep him away from Saturday’s Norwich game, Guardiola said: “Gundogan trained today but we’ll see.”
