A new limousine is called Spaghetti tavern Opened last Saturday right next to Sarabeth’s, where Frank Mac’s was located, on Amsterdam Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets. Co-owner Jason described it as “a border style bar” where you can actually get great spaghetti. “Imagine a room full of taxidermy, old country records, beer-flavored beers, an extensive bar split evenly between American whiskey and tequila, lots of stools sitting at the bar on lazy afternoons, ten kinds of fresh handcrafted spaghetti, our house dog George sleeping in the corner and two owners who can’t wait to welcome you into our brains. “However, it will be a few weeks before they can“ open the salon doors ”and greet you in the house.
