Mark your calendar. The latest virtual rogue fitness challenge starts on July 16, 2021. Similar to previous challenges like the “Bear Hug Challenge” and the “Cliffhanger Challenge”, in which the grip and willpower of the participating athletes were put to the test, the latest contest will do the same.

In the “Suitcase Challenge”, the athletes try to hold a suitcase – a barbell in each hand with their maximum possible weight – for 30 seconds. Whoever lasts the longest will earn a $ 2,500 prize and some serious show-off rights.

Rogue Fitness – Suitcase Challenge

For maximum weight:

  • Hold a barbell in each hand for at least 30 seconds.

In the event of a tie, the athlete who held the weight longer is considered the winner. For example, if two athletes weigh 400 pounds each and one held it for 31 seconds and another for 33 seconds, whoever held it for 33 seconds would rank higher.

The athletes don’t have to move during this event – it’s not carrying a farmer. Participants must weigh their dumbbells and weight plates on a calibrated scale in front of the camera and then hold the dumbbells for at least 30 seconds with a digital watch, stopwatch, or phone timer visible in the frame. The heaviest total weight wins.
