To celebrate the upcoming Paralympic Games, TeamUp has partnered with Parasport to raise awareness of accessible fitness activities in the UK.
PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, Aug. 19, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – TeamUp, the leading fitness management software company, and Parasport have teamed up to invite all fitness providers to share their inclusive, accessible, and adaptable activities and opportunities Parasports website directory for free. Parasport, developed by Paralympics GB in partnership with Toyota as part of Toyota’s commitment to improve movement for all, has launched a campaign to raise awareness of accessible fitness classes in the UK in anticipation of the upcoming Paralympic Games on August 24th, 2021 to celebrate.
To create greater awareness and reach out to all disabled people in their home countries, Parasport has integrated with imin to access all-inclusive courses listed through OpenActive, a community-run initiative and database of fitness classes and – Activities offered by fitness providers in exchange for free publication and exposure. The data already provided in advance of the Games enabled Parasport to compile an extensive directory of personal, online and local sports activities and classes. However, in order to achieve full accessibility and transparency of the available inclusive classes and possibilities, Parasport and TeamUp are calling on all fitness providers to integrate themselves into the software and OpenActive to list their courses and make them available free of charge in the Parasport directory.

As a TeamUp customer, you can integrate your account into OpenActive and list your classes directly in the integration in order to be set up and your classes listed. Once integrated, your activities will be verified and automatically listed in the Parasport Directory. If you are not currently a TeamUp customer, you can still list your activities and courses by logging into OpenActive directly and following the onboarding steps.
