“Today was a wake-up call for us as a family. I’m glad we did a medical exam even though we weren’t in pain or discomfort. It is not easy to get used to having regular checkups because we are not cultivated that way. There aren’t enough advertisements for preventive measures for your health or for a healthy lifestyle. The doctor told us that in a few years, if our husband did not change his eating and fitness habits significantly, we would face diabetes. Thank god we went. Thank goodness it’s not too late. “
Wahu said she and her husband now need to cut down on processed foods, increase water intake, exercise regularly, and adopt healthy sleeping habits.
She also advised fans who can afford medical exams.
“You don’t have to go to the gym. Just run or run. Drink your water, folks, and finally cut down on those processed foods. It’s also more economical. If you have insurance please see if you can get an annual checkup. Take advantage do this to the fullest in order to know your state of health, ”she said.
