Curtis Jones will resume full training on Friday afternoon before the trip from Liverpool to Manchester United on Sunday.

The midfielder missed the Reds’ last two games due to a groin problem but could be considered for the clash at Old Trafford.

However, the game will come too early for Thiago Alcantara as he continues to recover from a calf problem. Jürgen Klopp does not report any further injury concerns.

He told Liverpoolfc.com: “The squad is fine. We have to see it is.”

“We are only two days after the game and we have to make sure that we are all fit again, but those are typical things. I can’t tell you now who is 100 percent available and who is not.”

“The only thing that is clear is that Curtis will train the entire unit with us today, that’s the plan. And Thiago isn’t. So these are the two things I know at the moment.”

Later in his pre-game press conference, Klopp added to Thiago: “He hasn’t been to team training yet and will certainly not be this week. He’s running, so that’s a good sign.”

“I’m not sure, maybe it will be before the international break or maybe after the international break, that’s what we expect. We’ll see.”
