Each fitness center is funded through public-private partnerships with companies like the Coca-Cola Company, Anthem Blue Cross and the Blue Shield Foundation, Wheels Up, and Nike, and does not rely on taxpayers’ money or government funding. Fitness in Motion offers all fitness equipment made here in the USA. The aim of the foundation is to build a nation of the fitter and healthiest children in the world.

Physical activity and exercise are shown to help prevent and treat more than 40 chronic diseases, improve individual health and quality of life, and reduce health care costs. In schools, studies show that physical activity improves academic performance, increases self-confidence and self-esteem, decreases discipline problems, decreases absenteeism, and promotes better interpersonal relationships.
