On Saturday morning, MZR Fitness welcomed community members to its Fitness Extravaganza.

The event included MZR Fitness-led training, CPR demonstrations with the San Luis Ambulance, and free COVID-19 vaccinations from SLO County Public Health.

Coastal Peaks Coffee was also on site to provide food and drinks. 25% of the proceeds went to the Lumina Alliance Organization, a non-profit organization that raises awareness of sexual and intimate partner violence.

“Fitness is not just about what happens in the gym, it’s what happens in the rest of your life,” said Mike Z. Robinson, owner of MZR Fitness. “So we wanted to make sure we also have the CPR demonstration to save a life or two in an emergency, and we have the vaccinations too.”

Robinson is a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness), is CPR / AED / First Aid Certified by the Red Cross and a member of MZR Fitness Inc.
