McCOOK, Neb. ?? The McCook leadership’s YMCA is pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Allen as director of fitness.

Allen joins McCook from Spokane, Washington, where he most recently served as the Health & Wellness Director for the Inland Northwest’s YMCA.

A graduate from the University of Idaho with a Masters degree in

Exercise and leisure services, Allen brings a wealth of experience in the world of fitness.

Vincent has over 14 years of experience as a personal trainer, gym owner and program director. Vincent will oversee all aspects of the McCook YMCA fitness department, including the wellness center, weight room, group fitness classes, personal training, and health-related challenges.

Allen is accredited as a certified fitness trainer, fitness nutrition coach, youth fitness trainer, specialist in corrective exercises and elite trainer.

I am confident that this addition will allow us to keep the community engaged and improve the overall experience we offer our members and guests.

The McCook Group’s YMCA currently includes yoga, strength training, CATS (Cardio-Belly-Ton-Strength) Silverfoxx, Pilates, half-hour HITT and group cycling.
