A new fitness center has opened in Perry County.

Bryan and Patty Sibbach opened the Perry Strength & Fitness Center at the Village Square Plaza Shopping Center on 5201 Spring Road in Carroll Township near Shermansdale earlier this month.

The 5,500 square meter fitness facility includes cardio machines, treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machines, barbells and exercise bikes. The gym’s group classes include bike spinning, yoga, and Zumba. The facility also offers personal training.

Perry Strength & Fitness Center plans to offer free seminars on nutrition, diabetes awareness, and other topics in the future.

“We have seen the effects of the pandemic on the physical and mental state of the individual,” Patty Sibbach said in a press release. “So many people start over. At Perry Strength, our goal is to create a very educational and community-oriented environment where people, regardless of their fitness level, feel welcome and are not afraid to ask our employees questions. “

There will be a grand opening ceremony with the Perry County Chamber of Commerce and the West Shore Chamber of Commerce on January 13th at 5:00 pm. Perry Strength & Fitness has partnered with Capital Blue Cross to offer free blood pressure screenings, a nutrition seminar, and refreshments at the event.

The gym is open Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm; Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Sibbachs also own and operate Precision Training Concepts, Personal Training Studios in Lower Paxton Township and Hampden Township.
