Paula Gail Johnson, 63, of Milton, took her last breath after a sudden battle with cancer on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born on October 16, 1957 in Baltimore, Md., To the late Roswell Paul and Patricia Anne (Fee) Johnson.

Paula was committed to fitness and visited “built” where her smile would welcome the members of her exercise tribe. Her students, teachers, and administrators of her educational profession will remember her fondly, and her previous lively conversations about her late cats that she cherished reminded her of her.

Paula is survived by her favorite aunt Doris Lauer; her cousin Gail Lauer-Miller; her second cousin and godmother Julie Moreland and her husband Chad; her second cousin Mark Miller and his wife Lovena and their respective family members. On her father’s side, she is survived by her eldest sister, Deborah Kindred, and her husband, John. her niece Leah Apgar and husband James; her older sister Jacquelyn Rush and her husband Mark; her nephew Christopher Rush and his wife Tracy and their respective family members. She also leaves her dog, Cupid, who was her first pup and ultimate companion. her friends: Diane and Patty, who helped Paula with shopping, errands, and appointments when she was physically unable to; and her confidante Joy, who was by her side until the end and is her dearest friend.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no personal service will be offered.
