UT/TSU Extension, well being division presenting diabetes schooling program

JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department and the University of Tennessee / Tennessee State University Enlargement Office are hosting an educational program for people with prediabetes and diabetes, according to a press release.

The program will run for 10 weeks at the UT / TSU expansion office at 309 North Parkway.

The Real Talk: Diabetes 101 program starts on Wednesday, April 28th at 10am

Classes take place every Wednesday until June 30th. Speakers are expected to cover topics such as blood glucose testing, nutrition labeling, healthy eating, and more.
