It is a significant day for India as Neeraj Chopra won India’s first gold medal in the javelin throw at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The 23-year-old is only the first Indian in Independent India to win Olympic track and field events. As they say, it is not easy. Chopra attaches great importance to his fitness routine. And here we have some evidence.

Chopra is active on social media. He often posts pictures of his workouts that include weight training.

Chopra used medicine balls to work on its core.

He titled the article with the headline “Core and Stability Session Goes One Step Ahead”.

Because medicine balls can be challenging to work with due to their unstable nature, more exertion is required during exercise, which helps the stabilizing muscles in the body (which play second fiddle to the chest, biceps, and triceps) to improve balance in the body. They are known to be regularly used for bodyweight exercise to build functional strength that reduces the risk of sports injuries, improves posture, and aids in the heavier compound exercises like squats and overhead presses.
