“Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry announced she lost weight after accusing ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez of fat embarrassment.
“Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry announced she lost weight after accusing ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez of fat embarrassment. The mom of four told her followers on Instagram that she lost 12 pounds, In Touch Weekly reported on Sept. 8.
Lowry, 29, has been open about PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome, which can lead to weight gain, abnormal length, acne, and infertility, among other things. “Fitness journey now knowing that I have PCOS,” she titled her video. “Let’s see how that works.”
Lowry announced that she was training for the first time in a while. “I went back to the gym today – or started exercising again – and it was like walking a mile and then I did a 35-minute workout with my friends,” she said. “I’m really humbled by the whole thing because I didn’t expect this easy workout to be so tough for me.”
“Even if I lost a few pounds … it was still very difficult. And just knowing that I’m as far as I have to go is a humbling experience, ”she explained. “So day one back and at the gym and we’ll see how I feel in the morning and if I can make it to the gym tomorrow.”
Lowry accused her ex-boyfriend of fat shaming
Days before Lowry revealed she was starting to exercise again, the star leaked a text from ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez insinuating that she should exercise more.
“You know, if you’ve walked as much as your mouth, probably … nvm just let your nanny hold my kids ready, thank you,” he said.
The former couple have two children together: 4-year-old Lux and 1-year-old Creed. Lowry also has two other sons: 11-year-old Issac with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and 7-year-old Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.
Lopez went live on Instagram to deny the fat allegations.
“I never called anyone fat. If you look at my messages, it doesn’t even mean I called someone fat, ”said the father of two, according to the Teen Mom Talk fan account. “It actually says something quite the opposite. So you’re adding a word that I didn’t say. I stopped myself. “
“That’s not my pattern. I did nothing wrong. Am I wrong? Why? Because I said the obvious, ”Lopez, 27, continued. “Bodyshaming basically means to say that you are fat as a shit … This is bodyshaming.”
Lopez blamed Lowry for what he said
Lopez didn’t take responsibility for accusing Lowry of losing weight. Instead, he suggested that Lowry make him react the way he did.
“If what I said offends you, then it is bad. Stop talking shit, ”Lopez said with a laugh. “That’s how I see this shit. I do not care.”
Lopez then indicated that he and Lowry had no respect for each other.
“Let’s just put it this way: You are simply saying that the father should respect the mother of his children. I understand and you are absolutely right, but should the mother also respect the father of her children? Isn’t that the same? ”He asked.
Viewers will see more of Lopez since signing up for the new season of “Teen Mom 2”. MTV has not announced when the new episodes will premiere.
