#landerbiz, presented by the Chamber of Commerce of the States, shares the stories of the local makers and makers of our Fremont County’s economy.

(Lander, WY) – Tyson and Whitney Lee became the official owners of Anytime Fitness in Lander this week and are excited to begin this new adventure with their two daughters, 6 year old Riley and 1 year old Macy.

A third generation lander and Guardian Flight pilot, Tyson said he had always had an interest in fitness and noted that he had experienced various gym types and programming over the years as he moved for his job .

“Able to buy” [the gym] Now and bringing all this knowledge to work is really exciting. ”

They have been in full swing since they took over this week and are now offering the first month for all new or returning members through October 26th.

Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours a day and staffed during business hours.

Some of their goals are to add, update and upgrade some equipment, create group fitness classes, and offer personal trainers.

Whitney, a stay-at-home parent, said they will be converting one of the two racquetball courts that are currently not in use into a functional fit room.

“That will have extra space for kettlebells, more racks and weights, and where we plan group meetings,” she noted.

Whitney plans to take on the role of general manager and will be there most days. Tyson has a unique schedule as an on-call pilot, but plans to be there when he’s not flying patients in need of medical care.

Although they may now be less involved in UN and trampoline games as a family, they look forward to helping the community meet and maintain their fitness goals.

Websites and social media are still changing hands, but you can call (307) 332-2811 or stop by the gym at 943 Amoretti Street with any questions.
