University of Maine at the Farmington Fitness & Recreation Center
Farmington – The University of Maine at the Farmington Fitness & Recreation Center is running their Summer Daze Camp this summer from June 21st to August 6th. The camp lasts seven or five days from Monday to Friday and is aimed at children in grades 1-7 this coming fall. Activities include swimming, water games, sports, crafts, and field games.
The cost is $ 165 per session. Those with an active FRC membership during the session will receive a $ 25 discount. There is an additional one-time fee of $ 10 for a camp t-shirt.
In conjunction with the Summer Daze Camp, the FRC offers a leader-in training program. The program is designed for children in grades 8-11 and offers team building, communication training, CPR / first aid certification, and an opportunity to make new friends and have fun.
The program is offered in one-week sessions at a cost of $ 135 per session. Those with an active FRC membership during the session will receive a $ 20 discount.
Both programs have COVID-specific logs, and programming includes external activities as much as possible. There are no excursions this year.
