Rhea Singh Anand, co-founder of Flexnest, shared in a previous interview with indianexpress.com that “there is no one size fits all”. Every person’s recovery is different and depends on their body, immunity level, the severity of the infection and the various after-effects. This is the time to slow down and listen to your body. This is when you should relax and give your body the time it needs to heal and recover, she said.
The first few weeks after recovery are all about recovery lung strength recommended for breathing exercises. To do this, practice basic exercises such as diaphragmatic breathing, blowing up balloons or using a spirometer. “Focus on regaining flexibility and mobility and indulge in light stretches. In addition, you can also walk at a comfortable pace for 10 minutes twice a day,” she said.
The intensity should only be increased after a longer period of time and once the body feels good.
