Time to get fit, St. Pete, because Crunch Fitness has its sights set on the old Stein Mart location at 217 37th Avenue North – right next to Publix, Tour De Pizza and Cali St. Petersburg.

An official opening timeline is still TBA, but this is an important factor for the neighborhood around the square. Crunch Fitness has locations across the Tampa Bay area, but this will be the first location in St. Petersburg.

Crunch started out as a small gym in a basement in Greenwich Village in 1989. The concept has since been expanded to include two identities: Crunch Fitness and Crunch Signature.

Visitors can find state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment in the huge studio. Crunch is known for its group fitness classes and on-site personal trainers.

Monthly membership fees range from $ 9.95 to $ 24.95. Please visit the Crunch Fitness website for more information.

Another fitness center in the region, Amped Fitness, will open its brand new location in Tyrone, St. Petersburg (2601 Tyrone Boulevard) on March 22nd. Follow Amped Fitness on Facebook for updates.
