Doc begins YouTube channel to share wholesome recipes for kids

Nithya has always been passionate about cooking and that’s one of the reasons she started her YouTube channel Dr Nithya’s Kitchen. “Cooking is a big stress buster for me. Not only do I try new recipes, I also enjoy reading about food and cooking. I think if you dig deep into the food of a particular region, you get to know the history, culture and geography. Reading different kitchens and preparing dishes will give you a comprehensive understanding of our food culture. My family and friends have always told me that I cook well. They also encouraged me to start the channel, ”she adds.

As a pediatrician, the doctor says that it is also part of her job to educate and advise parents on what can be given to their children with food. “Parents are very concerned about food these days. In the videos, I also talk about recipes for adults and children. When I share recipes, I also give an introduction to the history of food, why it is nutritious and how to prepare it. I also talk about food trends because a lot of parents blindly follow what they read on the internet, ”she sums up.
