The autumn is here! The leaves are changing and the temperatures are cooling down, at least for people who don’t live in the desert! If you live in an apartment in Camden, Arizona, you already know that our seasons don’t really change. It is usually hot all year round with little change in the landscape and autumn can be hard to look forward to at times. So what are we doing to spice things up ?? (Pun intended). We bring the fall season into the house! Here are a few key things that can help bring a little fall mood to your Camden apartment:
Diffuse warm, spicy essential oils
Essential oils provide all of the benefits of a candle without incurring fire or rental violations! They’re also easy for apartment living and super safe for anyone with dogs or young children. Some great fragrances for fall would be cinnamon, nutmeg, or clove. You can also experiment and create your own perfect fall fragrance by mixing the oils together. This can take a little practice so be patient!
When you’re not decorating for the holiday season, you can also use essential oils to clean your home. Who doesn’t love something that lasts all year round?
Add a festive wreath
A festive wreath on your front door could be the perfect touch this fall season. You can even get creative and make an easy and beautiful DIY fall wreath. It’s simpler than you think! Meet some friends and plan a crafting day with hot cocoa and a warm smile.
A throw blanket always gives a cozy touch, especially in an open and spacious living room like that of Camden Rino. Bonus points if it is checked or knitted! You can also use extra blankets to build a fortress and watch Halloween movies for added fall fun for all ages.

Refill your coffee station
An apartment with lots of kitchen space like Camden McGowen Station is perfect for a designated coffee area. Make sure to stock up on all of your favorite fall flavors like pumpkin spice and salted caramel. Don’t forget to look for cute fall mugs to add to your collection too!
Flowers for autumn decoration
Don’t have time to design all of your decorations yourself? No problem! Fall decorations don’t have to be fancy to impress your guests. Take a trip to your local farmers market, which is just a few minutes’ walk away for residents of Camden Farmer’s Market. There you can choose some sunflowers and pumpkins to add a little pizazz! The nice thing about fresh flowers is that you can change them weekly.
Although autumn looks different in different parts of the country, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy it! Take a stroll through your shared apartment to get some fresh air, or make yourself comfortable in your living room, surrounded by the scents of autumn (possible through your oil diffuser, since you’ve only seen cacti all year round). !
