So climb up and shine with these beautifying Matcha waffles. They are soft and fluffy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside and a stylish green. In addition to the standard ingredients like whole wheat flour and milk, I mash a banana for natural sweetness and add matcha to pack in antioxidants that are beneficial to the skin and health. While they’re super tasty with any topper, I love adding strawberries and chopped nuts for an extra nutritious treat.

Joy Bauer’s Kale Pesto Pasta by Joy Bauer

Hit that yummy spin on traditional pesto, stat! Each bright and vibrant bite contains a mix of earthy kale, roasted walnuts, aromatic basil, EVOO, garlic, and parmesan. The end result is a fragrant sauce that’s full of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids, three nutrients that play key roles in enhancing the overall appearance of your skin. You can toss this power pesto with whole wheat pasta, zucchini pasta, or spaghetti squash – there is no wrong choice.
