Kate Middleton has always led by example when it comes to health and fitness. She participated in various sports in school and college, including hockey and tennis. As a mom, Kate reportedly invests in tennis classes for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The Duchess of Cambridge also doesn’t over-spend when it comes to grocery stores for her, Prince William, and her children.

But how much does Kate spend on health and fitness?

Gym membership

Kate and Prince William now have their own gym in their London home, Kensington Palace.

However, they were already members of the Harbor Club in Chelsea in 2014.

The Duke’s late mother, Princess Diana, was also a member.

The joining fee is £ 1,555 and then £ 325 per month for a full membership.

Tennis lessons

Kate was previously pictured taking tennis class at the Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London.

Membership to the club is currently restricted, but annual membership including access to the two pools, four studios, gym and tennis courts was previously reported to cost £ 960, along with an entry fee of £ 2,880.

personal trainer

Kate previously recruited personal trainer Louise Parker after the birth of Prince George in 2013.

Their training, ‘The Parker Practice’, provides a one-on-one program with access to a nutritionist and PT.

While it is unknown how long the Duchess worked with Louise, the cost of a 12 week program starts at £ 2,800.

Grocery shopping

Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spoken out about their healthy eating habits.

During a conversation with Mary Berry, Kate revealed that the family grow their own vegetables: “We have carrots, beans, beetroot – a huge favorite, Louis absolutely loves beetroot.

“Charlotte obviously likes her Charlotte potatoes,” she explained.

William had previously revealed that the couple also enjoy sushi.

Speaking to the Japanese chef Akira after her visit to Japan House London, the Duke said: “Thank you very much, my wife and I love sushi.

“We may have to come here for lunch when no one else is around.”

Vogue Australia estimates the Cambridge family of five’s grocery bill can cost up to £ 35,000 a year.
