CHICAGO – A new indoor climbing hall is due to open across from Wrigley Field this fall.

Movement Wrigleyville plans to open its doors at 1115 W. Addison St.

The new facility will be 43,000 square meters and have 12,000 square meters of climbing walls designed for all skill levels.

It will have three floors and will also have a weight room, a cardio room and a room for yoga.

Courses are offered for adults and young people interested in climbing.

“Completing Chicago’s rich and diverse climbing community is one of the primary goals of our new facility,” said Jen Torrent, district director at Movement. “Since we are adventurous ourselves, we want to meet and welcome others in our room and offer them support, training and a lot of bouldering fun to master.”
