El Paso, Texas – Katrina Forti celebrated the opening of her new fitness boutique by bringing over 30 local women-owned businesses together in a women’s empowerment celebration in east El Paso on Saturday.
“I just wanted to be united as a community, not just my healthy kittens, but everyone else in El Paso,” said Fortissimos.
Not only is she the owner of the Work It Fitness boutique, but she is also the owner and creator of Fit Kitty. A sportswear and fitness training company.
“Basically there are so many different women from all over the world who only empower and get involved together, and that’s what I wanted to bring to life,” said Forti.
The Work It Fitness Boutique is a private exercise center built during the pandemic to provide a clean and safe environment for its members to exercise and exercise.
“In high school I was a volleyball player, basketball player and I tried so hard to be captain. I think the leadership in me is naturally trying to ultimately make my dream come true,” said Forti.
Over 30 local women-owned businesses were invited to attend the Saturday afternoon celebration.
“All women are resident, all women are owned and I just wanted to specialize in it because that’s what I stand for,” said Forti, bringing it to life. “
Forti encourages other women to keep pushing for their ambitions in life no matter what obstacles are placed in their path.
“Just go ahead and support girls at the same time,” said Forti, “support women around you, because if you give support, you will get support.”
Forti hopes that more women will support such events as the year progresses.
