Steve Fitzner
Steve Fitzner has been named Great Lakes Sales Manager of Virtus Nutrition, a California-based feed ingredients company specializing in fatty acid nutrition for dairy cows. Virtus Nutrition offers EnerG-3, Strata, Prequel and EnerGII in its range of omega fatty acids.
“We are very excited to have Steve Fitzner on the Virtus team,” said Douglas Waterman, Eastern Technical Sales Director for Virtus Nutrition. “Steve has a tremendous amount of experience in the commercial feed and retail industries. He has successfully taken a leading position for important specialty products in his market and developed value-added sales strategies for feed manufacturers. Steve will be a great addition to our team and our presence in the Michigan, Ohio and Indiana markets. ”
Steve Fitzner recently joined Virtus Nutrition in early May and covers the Great Lakes area of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Fitzner, who has worked in the dairy feed and nutrition industry for 29 years, holds a BS in Animal Science from Michigan State University and an M.Sc. Graduated from Western Kentucky University in Animal Agriculture.

Steve previously worked in the dairy industry as a sales manager, technical service manager and owner of a commercial and retail feed company. In addition to his strong professional background, Fitzner works in the cattle and horse industry and enjoys being with his family and cycling, hunting and fishing.
