As summer approaches, many people may become more conscious of their health and diet. Stan State students and members of the local community share the 5-Minute Easy Detox Smoothie Recipes that will help them restore their health this summer.
Detox smoothies are very easy to make, especially if you use your favorite fruits and vegetables. According to Eatingwell.com, detox smoothies are an easy way to cleanse your body of toxins when you feel you need extra support even though your body is capable of detoxifying itself. They usually consist of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Natalie Venegas-Hernandez (sophomore student, business), a student from Stan State who loves makeup, food and travel, posted her family smoothie recipe, Green Drink Smoothie, on TikTok and Instagram social media and is now sharing this exact recipe with you. Venegas-Hernandez says: “This recipe was passed on from my grandma to my mother and now to me. My Green Drink Smoothie is my first choice for a delicious, healthy detox drink. I use this drink when my stomach is feeling uncomfortable or when I want to detox. “
A detox smoothie has other beneficial sides than just being a healthy smoothie. According to Eatingwell.com, detox smoothies are full of vitamins and antioxidants that help cleanse and support your immune system. It also helps keep your body hydrated and boost your metabolism with fresh fruits or vegetables.
Adding water is very important when it comes to detoxing and making your smoothie. It all has natural elements that will nourish your body and skin and help them shine better!
Venegas-Hernandez says, “I usually drink it in the morning to get my day off to a good start.”

“My advice to someone trying this drink is that you can make smaller or more servings of the ingredients to suit your taste. For example, I add more orange juice so I can taste it more, ”says Venegas-Hernandez. As you add more of your favorite fruits or vegetables, your smoothies will always taste better. Starting a smoothie diet will help you change the way you feel and look, and it all depends on your preferred healthy greens.
