Puerto Rican Cooks Create Wholesome and Easy Recipes in New Marketing campaign | Enterprise Gallery

The passion for the kitchen and the fascination for discovering new recipes have undoubtedly increased in the months we spent in a pandemic. This innate ability surprised many, including companies like To-Ricos, the only company in Puerto Rico dedicated to making fresh chicken.

“It was nice to see sales of our products go up, as evidence that more families are cooking in their homes,” said Jaime Jiménez, general manager of the island’s first poultry industry and currently the only one to run it Products processed too. “This became fertile land to launch an innovative communication campaign based on direct contact with the consumer,” he concluded.

In light of this new information, the creative minds behind Blend Marketing Solutions saw that “Se soltaron los pollos” (“The chicken is loose”), as they called the campaign.

“We all have a hen in our family. Chicken is the way we call Spanish handsome boys who are important to us, be it the father, husband or kids. The campaign aims to create a cheerful and cheerful tone that uses three local chefs with food service companies: Chef Gilberto Rivera from Fit Nutrition, Chef José Santiago from Chef José Tasty & Healthy Food and Chef Luis Rodríguez from Cocina Rica, who have all tasked themselves with creating innovative, simple and healthy recipes for the Puerto Rican taste ”, commented Zaigret Canals, creative director of the agency.

The recipes created by these chefs are published on To-Ricos’ social media pages and include a creative function: the “Se soltaron los pollos” calendar from 2021, which has limited stocks. The almanac also includes photos of the chefs and three other chickens: local businesspeople and social media influencers.

“At To-Ricos we have a committed work culture because one of our mottos is that success can only be achieved through hard work,” said Jiménez. “These chefs were selected from many similarly talented candidates for their tenacity and dedication to their business, which contributes to a healthy lifestyle in Puerto Rico.” To-Ricos is available in a variety of products across the island.
